The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV
Trendsetting luxury and versatility that raises the bar. Again.
Conquering new terrain in distinctly luxurious style.
New off-road and in-cabin technologies in the GLE SUV take luxury to new places.
Category defining, redefined.
The refreshed GLE, with its striking looks inside and out, receives a host of versatile new technologies. With electrified engines and luxurious new appointments, the GLE redefines the luxury SUV to its core.
Inside, the GLE receives updated features, materials and finishes previously exclusive to the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV. With new colorways, an updated steering wheel featuring sensor surfaces, and available MANUFAKTUR trim, the GLE has once again elevated the standards of luxury in a spacious SUV.
Taking all of that luxury to new destinations, an available Off-Road Engineering Package can enhance the capability of the GLE580 4MATIC with a suite of rugged features. Additional ground clearance, underbody protection and an OFFROAD drive modeDisclaimer[4] combine to instill confidence off the beaten track. A "transparent hood" function, which can display a virtual view from under the front of the vehicle, enables the driver to better visualize surfaces and position the vehicle’s tires while conquering rough terrain.
Powering the GLE in its ascent and advancement is a family of electrified powertrains, including the new GLE450e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid, as well as new mild hybrids. The 48-volt architecture and Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) offer intervals of added power to an already impressive level of performance, along with hybrid benefits to efficiency.Disclaimer[5]
With the second-generation Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX), the GLE cockpit becomes even more digital and intelligent. It leverages Artificial Intelligence to help you control vehicle functions more easily, via touch or your voice. Its “Hey, Mercedes” featureDisclaimer[6] can understand and learn a greater range of natural-language commands, to make the GLE more intuitive and enjoyable than ever before.
